The yearbook page of the governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam

The racist photo by which the governor of Virginia offered an apology and asked for his resignation

The image is part of the Ralph Northam page in the 1984 yearbook of the Eastern Virginia Medical School

The photo appeared on a conservative web and caused a political earthquake throughout the country but especially in Virginia, which still has open the wounds of a racist past.

The image also prompted calls for his resignation both Republicans and Democrats.

“I am very sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the damage that decision caused then and now," Northam said in a statement.

“That photo and the racist and offensive attitude it represents, do not reflect who I am today, " he added in a video below.

Northam, who is 59 years old and in 1984 was 25, did not clarify whether dressed in black or dressed in the characteristic clothes of the Ku Klux Klan.

The photograph is part of the Northam page in the 1984 yearbook of the Eastern Virginia Medical School, along with three other images of the governor today, one in a suit and tie, another with his convertible Corvette and the last one with country clothes.

In the controversial image, the two people appear with apparent beer cans in their hands.

With the appearance of photography, the calls for his resignation among all political sectors, from the National Association for the Advancement of People of Color ( NAACP ) and the Republican Party of Virginia to the Democratic Candidates to the White House Kamala Harris and Julián Castro.

Northam, however, showed his intention to finish his term, which runs until January 2022.

“I accept responsibility for my past actions and I am ready to do hard work to recover your confidence, I have fought for the last year as governor for a better Virginia for everyone and I am committed to continuing that fight until the end of my life. Mandate, "Northam said in the video.

Should Northam succumb to calls for his resignation, he would be replaced by the current deputy governor, African-American Justin Fairfax.

Democrat Ralph Northam, of the state of Virginia, apologized Friday for the image taken in 1984 for the yearbook of the Eastern Virginia Medical School.

The photo appeared on a conservative web and caused a political earthquake throughout the country, but especially in Virginia, which still has open wounds of its racist past.

The image also prompted calls for his resignation both Republicans and Democrats.

"I am very sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the damage that decision caused then and now," Northam said in a statement.

Detained Trump campaign ex-adviser Roger Stone

Roger Stone, Donald Trump's former advisor, is released on $ 250,000 bail

It was an identity hearing to confirm that he is Roger Stone before being released by a US Sheriff with a bail of $ 250,000, which he must not pay while still appearing in court when necessary.

As he left the federal attorney's office with his lawyers, Stone walked to parole services, smiled, shook hands with a friend, and then spoke outside the Florida courthouse. He said he was innocent of the charges against him and said he has been falsely accused.

He added that he will be declared innocent of the charges, of which he said they are "politically motivated." He also insisted that he will not testify against President Donald Trump.

A crowd gathered outside the court shouted "lock him up," while Stone spoke to the press.

After the hearing, Roger Stone's travels will be restricted. You are only allowed to travel to three areas: South Florida, the Eastern District of New York and the Eastern District of Washington DC and Virginia.

During the hearing, when the judge asked him to present his passport, Stone told him: "I do not have a valid passport, it has expired."

Donald Trump's former counselor has to undergo substance abuse testing as part of what was agreed in the previous trial. And you will be allowed to go to any medical visit with the doctor you are currently attending.

The hearing lasted only 10 minutes.

Roger Stone arrested Friday by the FBI at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was indicted before a grand jury of charges filed by special prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Stone was charged with seven counts: one obstruction charge, five counts of false statements and one count of witness tampering.

The veteran adviser to the president is charged with five crimes of false declaration, one of obstruction of official procedure and another of manipulation of witnesses

Special prosecutor Robert Mueller, in charge of investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election campaign and possible collusion of the environment of Donald Trump, accused Friday Roger Stone, veteran adviser and ideologue of the US president, of seven crimes: obstruction of an official procedure, manipulation of witnesses and five others for false statements.

Stone is a key player in the investigations because of his contacts with WikiLeaks, the organization behind the leak of thousands of Democratic emails during the presidential campaign. The FBI arrested the 66-year-old lobbyist at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who was then transferred to a court that released him on bail for $ 250,000. At the start, he defended that he is falsely accused and will not testify against the president.

The one that has described the investigations of Mueller like "a witch hunt", defending during months that on him there was "nothing to investigate", was stopped under its own roof.

"These accusations against Mr. Stone have nothing to do with the president, it has nothing to do with the White House, the president has done nothing wrong," presidential spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said hours after the arrest.

Trump insisted on disqualifying the investigation through his Twitter account: "The largest witch hunt in the history of our country." There is no conspiracy! The border coyotes, drug traffickers, and people smugglers receive a deal better, "he wrote.

The controversial adviser, who has worked for almost all Republican presidents in recent decades, has denied having known in advance of the cyber attack against the Democratic Party or that WikiLeaks would publish the stolen information.

However, according to the indictment, Trump campaign officials contacted Stone about the dissemination of the emails. "Around October 4, 2016, the Trump campaign employee asked Stone through a text message if he had heard more about London," where Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, is a refugee. "Stone replied: 'Yes, I want to talk on a secure line. Do you have WhatsApp?" Later,

Stone tried to cover up his actions, always according to the accusation, by lying to Congress and pressuring another witness, identified as Person 2, to refuse to speak before the Intelligence Committee of the House of Representatives.

On one occasion he mentioned a character from El Padrino to make himself understood. "On multiple occasions, including December 1, 2017, or around that date, Stone told Person 2 that he should do a 'Frank Pentangeli' before the Intelligence Committee to avoid contradicting Stone's testimony," the document reads.

In September of 2017, during his appearance before the Intelligence Committee of the House of Representatives that investigates the ties of Moscow with the environment of the US president, he insisted that there was no "collusion" with Russia and that "there is no evidence" of irregularities. With Stone, the special prosecutor's team has already indicted 34 individuals, six of them belonging to the president's circle, and three companies.

Stone and Trump have had ups and downs in their relationship. The consultant advised the current president during the first months of the election campaign, but then stepped aside and advised the tycoon informally.

Trump says he fired him because he assumed too much prominence, but Stone said he was the one who resigned. On December 3, the president praised through Twitter Stone's announcement that he would not testify in the case. But now he may change his speech again.

Blood drinker Ted Bundy has movie on his life

Conversations with assassins: Ted Bundy tapes is the documentary series that Netflix premiered on its platform and tells the truth about this serial killer

Thirty years have passed since the execution of Ted Bundy, a serial killer, and necrophiliac that terrified the entire United States in the 70s. For this reason, Netflix decided to release a documentary series of one of the most macabre criminals in history.

"Conversations with murderers: The tapes of Ted Bundy" is the documentary by Joe Berlinger. In this series, the portrait of the murderer will be presented through archives, audio recordings, and interviews with people related to the investigation. The series is now available on Netflix.

Ted Bundy was condemned to the capital punishment after being verified that it assassinated to 36 women between 1974 and 1977, but the investigators believe that the number could arrive at the hundred, what took to this man to commit these terrible acts? In this note, we will tell the life of this serial killer, his modus operandi, sentence and execution of this man.

Ted Bundy enrolled at the University of Puget Sound and began studying psychology and was always known as an excellent student. In 1967 he fell in love and began a relationship with Stephanie Brooks. Two years later, his girlfriend graduated and ended the relationship he had with Bundy.

He was very devastated by this and despite that in 1969 he started a new relationship with Elizabeth Kloepfer that would last five years despite continuing to fall in love with his former partner.

Sometime later he would graduate, and in 1973 he enrolled at the University of Washington to study law. He is also interested and begins to participate in the world of politics for the Republican Party and to join different community activities, becoming a volunteer in telephone service to help sexually assaulted women and even to be decorated for saving a child from drowning. He would meet Stephanie

Brooks again and have a brief relationship with her, which this time would end him after becoming extremely cold.

The murders begin

In 1974, still in the university, Ted Bundy entered the room of Joni Lenz, of 18 years, a student who assaulted in the room of his residence. Bundy hit her with a blunt object and raped her with the leg of the bed. Lenz managed to survive, but with irreversible neurological damage.

The killer would carry out the same procedure with Lynda Ann Healy, whom in this case he would kill. His corpse quartered appeared a year later in a forest near the university residence. The first crime left him wanting more, and he always chose similar victims: young, white, beautiful and black-haired students. All similar to Stephanie Brooks.

Joe Berlinger, director of the film Extremely Wicked, Shocking and Evil, And Vile to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival has also directed the docuseries Conversations with Assassins: The Ted Bundy tapes that are now available on Netflix.

This is a series of four episodes, which will take as a starting point unpublished interviews with Ted Bundy when he was on death row in Florida and where he detailed the crimes of more than 30 women in the seventies and the coldness about the facts and how his wife, Carole Ann Boone, came to testify in his favor at his trial.

Conversations with murderers: The tapes of Ted Bundy it was released today, January 24, 2019, when it is 30 years since its execution by the American justice system.

Among his victims were the corpses of Carol Valenzuela, Nancy Wilcox, Susan Rancourt, Donna Mason, Laura Aimee, Brenda Ball, Georgann Hawkins, Melissa Smith and Caryn Campbell among many others.

Modus operandi

Bundy's modus operandi was initially based on following and kidnapping his victims to his house to strangle them there. However with time and seeing that he had the ability to manipulate due to his charisma and it was attractive for many females, he started to look for victims during the day, it was usual to pretend to have a broken arm to ask for help to take things to your car.

The victims were often raped and dismembered, Ted used to keep parts of their bodies as the head as trophies of their crimes. It was not unusual for him to maintain relationships with the bodies once the victim died.

In order not to attract the attention of the police, Bundy decided to change the scene of his crimes and began a macabre tour of the United States that took him to Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Florida, leaving behind a trail of murders.

Trump is perhaps working to grow his tactic with the Fed this time

politics, Donald Trump, Trump wall, USA

The president will show on his Twitter account or in a public appearance what he really thinks.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday night delivered his response to Washington's intense stalemate on its border fence. But when he is free to tweet and with cameras on during an appearance on Wednesday morning, the United States could discover what he really thinks.

Included in the staging of his first speech in the Oval Office, the president did little to end the partial closure of the government or to bring the last monument to his political movement, a wall along the southern border, closer to His construction.
Trump's behavior after a decisive moment is often dictated by his reaction to the way others rate his performance. His impulsive political instincts can then go full throttle after presentations in which he has adopted a calm presidential stance, for example, in his State of the Union address last year. A subsequent storm of tweets or spontaneous comments to journalists often gives a more authentic look to the president's mind.
Thus, Trump's Twitter account and a photo shoot while signing a law against human trafficking in the White House on Wednesday could offer an interesting look, especially if the president is in a bad mood because of the morning television coverage of his great speech.

The president hinted that the Tuesday night show at the Oval Office, his most aggressive move during a government shutdown that is now in its third week, was outside his usual comfort zone of rallies and spontaneous appearances.

"Thanks for so many kind comments about my speech in the Oval Office, a very interesting experience!" He tweeted just before midnight.

Trump had four urgent objectives at the head of the primetime speech that convened the symbolic power of the presidency and was transmitted to millions of homes and mobile devices. He had to convince those Americans who would not trust him that there is a real crisis on the border. He had to prove that the wall is the way to approach it. And he had to reinforce a weak personal position and change the political equation while the closure begins to take its toll.

Finally, with signs of cracking among Republican leaders on the Capitol, the president had to produce a show of force that would harden the resolve of his own party and ease the pressure of annoying voters on shocked lawmakers.
"This is a choice between good and evil, justice and injustice, it is about fulfilling our sacred duty with the American citizens we serve," Trump said, seeking to elevate the dispute over the narrow focus on the border wall. A state of affairs that he, more than anyone, has fostered.
By the end of the night, it seemed possible that the emotional and symbolic aspiration to build a wall that so inflamed Trump's political career would become a growing obstacle for an administration beleaguered by political challenges.

One thing that Trump did not do was show signs of collapse before the Democrats who reject his demands of more than 5,000 million dollars, although the formality of the scenario took away much of the fire and passion characteristic of his speech.

Nor was there a decisive moment that could help Trump to achieve a desperately needed victory, in a moment of extreme danger that is aggravated by Tuesday's new and threatening advances in Robert Mueller's research.

Trump warns of a growing crisis on the border with Mexico

Trump's speech lacked the emotional impact of many previous presidential messages from the Oval Office desk or new material that could unravel Washington's standstill.
"The speech was a bit hasty, it was thrown in. It did not thrill, it did not thrill the audience, I think, emotionally or rationally," said David Gergen, an adviser to Republican presidents and Democrats, on "CNN Tonight."
Texas Republican Rep. Will Hurd, who represents a vast border district of that state, told CNN's Don Lemon: "Tonight we did not see anything that we have not seen before. Unfortunately, I do not think any side presents initiatives that are going to move the ball forward. "

If the president wanted to persuade the Democrats to return to the dialogue table, he offered them to encourage negotiation. He also failed to deliver a death blow that could erode what they believe is his tough stance. Part of the problem lay in the dynamics that Trump faced when the speech began. The president accused the Democrats of keeping the government closed by not financing border security.

But that is not true since Democrats have already approved a measure that provides $ 1.3 billion for border security until February 8, although it does not include funds for the wall. The measure was based on a Republican bill passed by the Senate last year.

Before Christmas, Trump said he would be "proud" to close the government in favor of border security, a comment that undermines the version of events he delivered in his office of the Oval Office. In her response on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer exhibited an exaggerated calm to show that they - and not Trump - offer responsible government.
"President Trump must stop taking the American people hostage, he must stop creating a crisis and he must reopen the government," Pelosi said.
The president's warning that the United States was facing "a crisis in the heart and a crisis of the soul" represented a change of tone to expand his words and regret that there is a "humanitarian crisis and security on our southern border."

It seems to be an effort to take advantage of the debate to attract more moderate voters. The president did not mention the wall, the central theme of the government's closure, until the end of his speech. Even so, his somber portrait of border crossings out of control, a torrent of drug trafficking from Mexico and assaults, sexual crimes and homicides perpetrated by foreigners will have won the approval of his most loyal followers.

Trump's base responded to his warnings about a border crisis in his campaign, and he still sincerely believes that the situation is out of control. Trump is an imperfect messenger since for a long time he has used the issue of immigration in a demagogic way for political purposes. His speech was peppered with falsehoods. For example, it falsely suggested that most of the heroin trafficking comes through the porous southern border and that a wall would solve the problem. In fact, most of the drug is seized in legal entry points - a wall can do little to resolve this situation.

The president also tried to shake off the famous promise that Mexico would pay for the wall arguing that the cost would be recovered in a new trade agreement, deliberately misinterpreting how such agreements work. Trump's description of undocumented immigrants as crazed criminals, when many are desperate asylum seekers fleeing persecution and economic misery, was deeply offensive to their opponents.

The president also ignored the plight of hundreds of thousands of government workers who have not received a check since he rejected the short-term financing agreement before Christmas for fear of a backlash from conservatives and their political base.

On Tuesday night, the Republican fear of the political impact of the closure was growing, a fact that shows that the president's lack of empathy towards the dismissed workers has not served much.

Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, a moderate Republican who has resisted the president, said she was receptive to a process that would reopen the government even if the struggle for the wall is not resolved.

"I think we can do both at the same time," he said.

Trump's first public appearance on Wednesday is the ceremony for the signing of law against trafficking in persons, which could lead to extemporaneous comments if he decides to respond to a potentially critical morning. Next, the president will go to the Capitol to gather the Republicans and meet with the leaders of the Congress in the White House situation room, the place was chosen to suggest a moment of crisis.

The president's next big event is a trip to the border this Thursday. Trump may be tempted to fulfill his threat to declare a national emergency as a way to redirect Pentagon funds from other projects to the construction of the wall.

CNN journalist Jim Acosta reported on Tuesday that some of Trump's friends have told him that such a move would probably not be legal for the president. But he could offer Trump a way out of his dead-end on the wall. A legal battle for the order would place Trump in a fight that would be popular with his base, as his candidacy for re-election is underway.

An adverse trial could offer an opportunity to save the justice system and the perception of unfairness about political institutions, which Trump has always blamed for trying to thwart his presidency.

Nancy Pelosi going to lead Dems to provoke the Trump

Nancy Pelosi, Trump

The veteran congresswoman, the elected leader of the House of Representatives, will lead the offensive against the president in the second half of his term

It's a new day in America, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a Somali refugee, tweeted, along with a photo that portrayed her, played with hijab, at the gates of the Capitol. Rashida Tlaib, the other of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, honored her Palestinian heritage by wearing a traditional thobe. Deb Haaland, a Native American woman who has sat in Congress since yesterday, came covered with silver and turquoise jewelry and covered with moccasins, as mandated by the Pueblo Indians.

The class of 2019 is the most ethnically diverse and feminine in the more than 200 years of the institution's history. The renewal takes place mainly in the ranks of the Democratic Party, which has released its majority in the House on Thursday and comes with the democratic mandate to turn the second half of the Trump Administration into something very different from the first.

Take the reins of that new majority Nancy Pelosi, not a veteran less pioneer, who will be, for the second time in her 78 years of life, the most powerful woman elected in the United States. She was the first woman president of the Chamber (between 2007 and 2011) and is, from today, the second.

Pelosi, received on Thursday by a standing ovation from the new Democratic caucus, will be responsible for catalyzing all that fresh energy flow to effectively face Donald Trump and demonstrate to the country that the Democrats are ready to replace him in 2020. The challenges are colossal, as evidenced by the fact that Congress has taken office with the partially closed government for almost two weeks, due to the Democrats' refusal to finance the wall that Trump wants to build on the border with Mexico.

The meeting in the Crisis Room of the White House, which the president called on Wednesday to inform its leaders about the immigration policy in the Congress, ended in the foreseeable failure. The lighted and rude tone of it, according to the story of those present, suggests that the end of the crisis is not close.

The Democratic control of the House of Representatives poses serious threats to Trump. The desire to punish the president will, in all likelihood, be one of the forces shaping the new majority. The excitement was noticeable in the parliamentary committees that are preparing for the democratically relief in their leadership. Particularly in the judicial, which will preside, Jerrold Nadler, who plans to immediately introduce a bill that shields from political interference the investigation of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller on Russian interference in the 2016 elections and the possible conspiracy of Trump's environment with Moscow to take the tycoon to the White House

Pelosi will be in charge of managing the intensity of that offensive and achieving the delicate balance between the desire to overthrow Trump and the realpolitik that discourages rushing. In a television interview in the morning, Pelosi left the door open to an impeachment of the president, a possible impeachment process in the context of Mueller's investigations.

The initiative to initiate the process, which has important support among the new Democratic congressmen, corresponds exclusively to the House of Representatives. If it succeeds in the lower house, it would have to be resolved by a two-thirds majority in the Senate, where the Republicans maintain control. "We must wait and see what happens with Mueller's report," Pelosi said, with caution so as not to frustrate yearning for newcomers. "We should not promote impeachment for political reasons, but neither should we avoid it for political reasons. We'll have to wait and see how it develops. "

With the self-confidence that characterizes her, Nancy Pelosi published excerpts from her speech as the new president of the House of Representatives, before even winning the vote that would make her the third highest authority in the country. "Our democracy is reinforced with the optimism, idealism, and patriotism of this new transformative promotion," he said. Pelosi reviewed what will be priorities of its majority, such as the fight against inequalities and the middle class - "the backbone of democracy" - as well as the fight against climate change, "the existential threat of our time."

Trump planing to leave Syria on this Christmas

Trump leave Syria Afghanistan

Trump again defends withdrawal of troops in Syria: "It's time to return home and recompose"

Through his Twitter account, the US president declared that it was not a surprise announcement and that he does not want to be "the police of the Middle East."
President Donald Trump reiterated its support for the withdrawal of US troops in Syria, after stating that the jihadist group Islamic State had been defeated in the area. Through his Twitter account, the president said he does not want the US to be "the police of the Middle East".
"The withdrawal from Syria was not surprising. I've campaigned on that for years and six months ago, when I publicly said I wanted to do it and I agreed to do it, "the president warned after his announcement yesterday.

According to the United States, he has lost many lives and a lot of money in the work that the other enemies of the is" Russia, Iran, Syria and others are local enemies of IS. We were doing their job. It's time to go home and recompose. "

Along with this, he added: "Does the United States want to be the police of the Middle East and not get anything in return to lose many lives and trillions of dollars to protect others who, in most cases, do not appreciate what we do?". His withdrawal has meant criticism of his main ally in Syrian territory, the Kurds, who denied that the Islamic State had been completely defeated, and warned that the withdrawal of troops could cause the resurgence of extremists in other areas. Islamic State was not doing.

US President Donald Trump has announced a significant victory over ISIS, saying he will withdraw Syrian troops. The president's statement argued that the United States was in Syria and in the Middle East, which led to the United States, the United States Security Council, the United States, and the United States. Greedy.

The US issue will play an important role in international politics, with a view to asking questions about the future of Kurdish and US extremists, who have long been fighting the ISIS. While claiming to be victorious against the ISIS, President Trump said the success they had led to the withdrawal of US troops to the home, which threatened the US demand.

Currently, there are at least 20 US troops in Syria, and many of the world's largest armed forces in the United States are under SDF, most of whom are Kurdish, whom Turkey views as terrorists.

America THANKS on the traditional Thanksgiving

raditional Thanksgiving

This Thursday is celebrated in the United States thanksgiving (Thanksgiving) in English. The tradition comes from the colonial era and commemorates a meeting between Native Americans and European settlers.

According to tradition, in 1621 a group of English settlers from Plymouth, Massachusetts, shared a meal with the Wampanoag Indians to celebrate the autumn harvest and to thank them for teaching them how to farm and hunt. The settlers of New England already had the tradition of celebrating days of prayer to 'thank' for blessings such as military victories or the end of a drought.
The holiday was kept for two centuries throughout the country, however, the date was different in each state. It was not until October of 1863 that President Abraham Lincoln declared it to be celebrated as a national day on the last Thursday of November. In 1941 Congress turned Thanksgiving into a national holiday.

The National Day of Mourning

For many indigenous people and descendants of the first inhabitants of what is now known as the USA, Thanksgiving is not a date to celebrate.

Each year, hundreds of Native Americans march in Plymouth for the National Day of Mourning, to commemorate their ancestors, as well as the "genocide" of their people and the "theft" of their lands, according to the website of the association of natives Americans of New England.

Colonization reduced the indigenous population in North America from an estimated five to fifteen million to 238,000 people by the end of the 19th century.

Thanksgiving is a holiday for the majority of workers in the United States. According to the American Automobile Association, nearly 50 million Americans travel by land during the holiday. The tradition is to celebrate a dinner with the family, where they give thanks for all the 'blessings' that were received throughout the year.
The main course is turkey, accompanied by cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie, among others.

In New York City, the Christmas parade takes place at Macy's, a large department store, where balloons of cartoon characters such as Snoopy, SpongeBob, and Mickey Mouse stroll the streets of the city. The parade is broadcast on television and has an audience of more than 44 million people.

At the end of the dinner, some families participate in an activity called wishbone breaking, which consists of choosing two people, who must make a wish. Next, they should take the turkey's wishbone, each one on one side, and try to break it. If they succeed, the tradition tells that the desire of the person with the largest piece of bone will be fulfilled.

CDC asks Americans to do not eat romaine lettuce

CDC romaine lettuce

Both Canadians and Americans must abstain from eating romaine lettuce because of a new outbreak of E. coli bacteria that has left dozens of patients on both sides of the border.

In Canada, 18 cases of infections related to this outbreak are being investigated, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) reported on Tuesday. Of the total, 15 cases were detected in Quebec, while the other three affected Ontarians.
"People became ill between mid-October and the beginning of November 2018. Six people were hospitalized and one person suffered from the hemolytic uremic syndrome, which is manifested by serious complications that may result from an infection. E. coli, "said PHAC.
South of the border, 32 cases that were reported between October 8 and 31 in 11 states. Thirteen patients had to be hospitalized, the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control reported. No deaths have been reported, both in Canada and the United States, health authorities said.

As a result of this outbreak, public health officials have asked consumers to avoid consuming Roman salad. Distributors must also stop selling, while restaurant owners must stop using them.

In the US, called on to refuse romaine lettuce due to an outbreak of intestinal infection

Patients infected in the United States and Canada were affected by the same strain of E. coli, O157: H7. According to the CDC, outbreaks of infection caused by the bacterium Escherichia coli strain O157: H7, have been identified in eleven states of the United States and two provinces of Canada. According to reports, 13 patients in the United States needed hospitalization, deaths have not yet occurred.

In connection with the outbreak of the disease, which experts, previously, associated with Roman salad, consumers are asked not to eat it, and also to disinfect the dishes and shelves of refrigerators, where the potentially dangerous product was stored. In the case of poor health, Americans are asked to remember what they ate during the last week, and immediately consult a doctor.
"It shows us that the same strain of E. coli is the source of disease in Canada and the United States, as we saw in 2017, and suggests that there may be a recurring source of contamination, "said PHAC.
By the end of 2017, dozens of people, including 42 in Canada, had contracted the same strain of E. coli after eating romaine lettuce on both sides of the border. The source of contaminated salads, however, has never been identified.

CDC Says E. Coli Outbreak Is From Romaine Lettuce

The representative of the CDC also said that if during the first outbreak, the source of E. coli was quickly located - a company in Arizona, now it was not possible to find the source, which makes all products dangerous.

In connection with the outbreak of the disease, which experts associate with the salad, consumers are asked not to eat it, and also to disinfect the dishes and shelves of refrigerators, where the potentially dangerous product was stored.

However, the source of this new outbreak of the disease does not appear to be the same one that had eight patients in Canada and 210 in the United States last spring. This major outbreak resulted in five deaths in the United States.

Trump thinks Adam shiff is a "little Schitt"

Trump Adam shiff

It is nothing new that Donald Trump condescendingly expresses his political opponents. However, a distasteful tweet about Democrat Adam Schiff is causing indignation.

"Spoof" of the US President is to vile insult to the future chief of the Russia Committee Washington - US President Donald Trump once again caused a stir on Monday with a filthy ride on Twitter. The head of state of the most powerful country in the world calls the democrat Adam Schiff little subtle as "Adam Schitt". Schiff is the future head of the committee in the House of Representatives, which will investigate the links between Trump's election campaign and the Kremlin in 2016.
Concretely, Trump came to terms with Schiff's statement that he saw a problem in that the Attorney General, Matt Whitaker, was not confirmed by the Senate, but had been appointed by Trump. It was "so funny", Trump wrote, that "little Adam Schitt" sees a problem in Whitaker's order, but not that there was no confirmation from the Senate for special investigator Robert Mueller. Of course, it is the case that special investigators do not have to be confirmed by the Senate according to the US constitution, but ministers are very well.
Whitaker's order is also considered particularly controversial because he had already made known in advance, his refusal of the Mueller investigation. There are also some inconsistencies in Whitaker's past, including suspected fraud. That he would be confirmed by the Senate, so is by no means certain.

Trump uses a derisive nickname for Rep. Adam ship in a tweet

President Donald Trump is name-calling Democratic Rep. Adam Ship for saying Matthew Whitaker's appointment as acting attorney general is unconstitutional. Robert Mueller, Who's Investing 2016 Trump's Vote for the Trial and the Trumps.
Especially that Trump Adam Schiff's name - presumably deliberately - misspelled and changed in line with the word "shit" (German: "shit") in "Schitt" causes in the US for indignation. "This is crazy, such an irresponsible leadership has never existed in the United States before," writes a Twitter user about the "disgusting" and "patronizing condescension" of the member of Congress. "No other head of government would have got away with it. Even their followers would have had enough, "agrees another.
What is also controversial to the tweet of the US President: Robert Mueller, who has been working as a special investigator in the Russia affair since mid-2017 and is regularly attacked by Trump, requires in contrast to the Minister of Justice, no confirmation by the Senate and is not one Conflict of interest affected. That had only been decided in August a court.

While individual experts argue that Matthew Whitaker does not need to be confirmed by the Senate in office because he only holds the position temporarily, Adam Schiff considers his appointment unequivocally unconstitutional. "He's obviously an executive incumbent, and the fact that he's just a temporary executive incumbent does not mean he does not need Senate approval," the lawyer explains on the TV show "This Week." "According to the Constitution, a confirmation is necessary. I think they would lose this case if he went to the Supreme Court. "

Trump wanted to make a funny joke, but only managed to show the world the advanced of his senile dementia

Describing Schiff as “little ", Trump did not bother to invent a unique pejorative for the congressman, who will soon preside over the House Intelligence Committee and investigate the outrages of the president and his government.

Schiff, who is five feet and a half and a half tall, deserves a more precise and creative name than Trump could bother to find. Come on, Donald! Put some effort into it!
What fun to see little Donald Trump talking about his invented lies again, but without mentioning the facts! Actually, please cross out the “funny ". It is rather “pathetic ".

Trump Neomi Rao Kavanaugh

Trump chose conservative Neomi Rao to replace Kavanaugh on appeal

Rao is currently Trump's top official on legal issues. Trump, whose government has reversed a series of environmental and other issues since he took office last year, made a statement at a White House ceremony honoring Diwali, a Hindu festival. Rao's parents are Indians.

"She's going to be great - a great person," Trump said. "Thank you so much, Mr. President, for the confidence you have shown me. I appreciate that, "Rao said.

Stan Lee was the man who made the heroes great

Stan Lee died

Stan Lee, the creative mind behind Spider-Man and many other Marvel heroes, died at the age of 95. He lent comic supermen traction - and founded a pop mythology that nobody can pass by today.

The publisher Marvel Comics and the entertainment giant Walt Disney honored Lee as a "superhero". "Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created," Disney CEO Bob Iger was quoted as saying by Marvel. It is almost impossible today to find a place in the Marvel Universe not marked by Lee.
As soon as Spider-Man has brought down the alleged car thief, the alarm system calls grumpy neighbors on the scene. A white-haired man leans out of the window and threatens the superhero with the index finger: "Do not force me to come down, you little bum!" What is for most viewers of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" only one Ulkmoment among many, offers Marvel Fans an ironic insider nonsense. Because the grinning nimble actor is none other than Stan Lee - the man without whom the main character of the film and several other Marvel stars would not exist.
In the future, comic enthusiasts around the world will be crushing one or two tears on this scene - and on many comparable lee-plays in other Marvel blockbusters - on Monday, the hero-maker died in Los Angeles. He was 95 years old.

The son of Jewish-Romanian immigrants grew up as Stanley Martin Lieber in New York. Thanks to family contacts, he found work as a teenager in the dime publishing Timely Publications, from which the Marvel Empire should develop. His creative urge (the young Stan wanted to act and write novels) soon made him the author and editor-in-chief of a pioneer of the young comic industry - and led him in the 1960s, together with gifted draftsmen such as Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko to unsurpassed success.
"Today we lost a true superhero," the Oscar Academy paid tribute on Twitter. "Stan Lee, thank you for everything." The US Army praised Lee for his services during the Second World War and for his later support for soldiers.
He missed a genre that had previously spawned especially outraged high-flyers like Batman and Superman, an overdue dose of humanity. His heroes had incredible abilities, but inside they were as concerned as their fans.

Spider-Man spun nets, knocking slogans and crawling facades up. Behind his red costume, however, hid a nerdy youth, who had to deal with everyday problems and matters of the heart. The Fantastic Four, conceptually a copy of the "Justice League" from the stables of the eternal competitor DC, explored stupid different worlds of death - but when they fell into quarrels, each reader felt reminded of his own family.
Lee's heroes and villains (over 300, most of the masculine, conjured from his and his ally's hat) seldom used trivial omnipotence fantasies.
Even the comedian Seth Rogen thanked Lee: He had given people who felt differently, the feeling that they were something special. "You were and will always be a superhero," wrote actress Jamie Lee Curtis. German rapper Casper wrote in English: "You, you yourself, were the greatest superhero of all."

In an interview, Lee said he himself was "stupid on business grounds", some of his former colleagues would argue against it: Jack Kirby, for example, saw Lee's urge to gain fame and royalties betrayed.

The African prince Black Panther, whose movie debut was celebrated as Hollywood's inclusion mark, once sprang from Lee's mind. Active and easygoing he was to the last. Now the builder of the modern superhero pantheon himself has gone under the legends. His work continues to grow, all by itself.

Macron called Trump a "good friend" and patted his knee

Macron called Trump

During a bilateral meeting in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron called his American counterpart Donald Trump "good friend" and confirmed his words by tapping the US leader on his knee, reports Gazeta, citing a video published by The Associated Press.

According to the agency, a friendly gesture by the French president was a response to a question from journalists about Trump's tweet, in which he was unflattering about Macron.
As noted, during a meeting with the head of France, Trump was very welcome, but at the time of the friendly patting of Macron he sat “with a stony face”.
The greetings of the leaders of France and the United States have repeatedly attracted media attention. So, when Trump participated in the celebration of Bastille Day in 2017, Macron shook Trump's hand for almost half a minute. A year later, the Telegraph noticed that Trump's hand had turned white from Macron's strong handshake.

Trump Wants Europe to Be More Responsible for Defense

French President Emmanuel Macron (right) shakes hands with US President Donald Trump after meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Saturday. The United States wants "strong Europe" and the US is willing to help Europe, but Europe must be fair on the division of the burden of the defense budget, said US President Donald Trump on Saturday.
"We want a strong Europe, it is very important for us and whatever the best and more efficient way is something that is desired by both parties," Trump said after being welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
When asked about what was meant when Trump stated on Twitter that he felt insulted by Macron's statement of wanting to reduce Europe's dependence on the US for security, Trump stated, "We want to help Europe, but it must be fair. Right now, the US is more load."
Macron stated that he agreed on Trump's point of view that Europe must contribute more in bearing the burden of the NATO budget. "Therefore, I believe proposals about European defense are in line with that."

Earlier, Trump criticized the words of Macron about the need to create a single European armed force, calling them "offensive" for the United States. In a recent interview, Macron said that such forces should be ready to defend Europe from China, Russia, and even the United States. In the presence of reporters, however, the presidents did not discuss this topic.

US President Donald Trump spoke about the words of his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, who stated the importance of creating a "pan-European army."

According to RT, citing a Twitter account of the American president, Trump found Macron’s desire offensive. At the talks, as previously reported, the leaders of France and the United States should have touched upon the themes of Syria, Iran, Yemen, as well as a rocket treaty with Russia, from which the United States threatened to withdraw.

Trump came to France for events dedicated to the one-hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War. The main celebrations will take place on Sunday, when about 70 world leaders will arrive in Paris, including Vladimir Putin. On Twitter, Trump wrote that "there is nothing better" than to celebrate the end of one of the bloodiest wars in human

The two leaders will discuss various issues including Iran, conflicts in Syria and Yemen, climate change, and trade in meetings for 1 hour. Trump softened the threat of tariffs on cars produced in the European Union (EU) while the two sides discussed abolishing tariffs on imports of EU aluminum and steel by the US. The US president stated that the negotiations were developing. "We'll see if we can solve it," Trump added.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized after three ribs fractures

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Hospitalized by a fall to the oldest magistrate of the US Supreme Court. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, recognized as one of the magistrates of the liberal wing of the Court, broke 3 ribs. An eventual resignation from his position would give Donald Trump the opportunity to appoint a new, more conservative magistrate in court.

At 85, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the oldest judge in the Supreme Court of the United States. Since 1993, she has been in office, when she was appointed by President Bill Clinton. This woman heads the liberal wing of the US Supreme Court and does not plan to retire for a long time.

She rejected the suggestions of some liberals to resign during the first half of Barack Obama's second term when the Democrats controlled the Senate and probably could have confirmed someone who succeeded her. In addition, it has hired its employees until 2020, an indication that it has no plans to retire.
This Wednesday night, Ginsburg suffered a fall that during the early hours of Thursday had to be taken to the George Washington University Hospital. Due to the accident, 3 ribs were fractured and he was under observation and treatment.

Despite its absence, the Court continued on Thursday with the ceremony in which the new member of that body, Brett Kavanaugh, would be welcomed. The assistance of Donald Trump and Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker was anticipated and it is not the first time that the magistrate faces health problems. In 2012 he suffered the fracture of two ribs also by a fall. He has had cancer and in 2014 a stent (a tiny tube) was implanted to unblock an artery.

Accident of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, magistrate of the Supreme Court

It transpired that the judge presented pain during the night, the reason why this Thursday in the morning she was transferred to the hospital of the University George Washington. At the medical center, he receives treatment after confirming the fracture. The Supreme Court did not suspend the welcoming ceremony for Brett Kavanaugh, a judge recently confirmed by the Senate, scheduled for today. The judge, appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1993, broke two ribs in 2012 when she also fell. She has had cancer and was operated on in 2014 to insert a stent (a small tube) and unblock an artery, according to AP.
The health of the judge has the United States in suspense to the extent that should he die or resign, Trump would have the green light to make a new appointment in the collegiate body that currently has 5 conservative votes versus 4 liberals.

Andrew Gillum had accepted the Florida governor's race

The wave of anger against the president falls at the polls, but the Republicans maintain control of the Senate

The Democratic Party has regained control of the US House of Representatives on Tuesday, after eight years of Republican majority, and has left weakened what remains of Donald Trump's mandate. It has not managed, however, to strike what would have been a lethal blow, since the Conservatives maintain the Senate. It opens a stage of uncertainty because the controversial Trumpist dreams of raising a wall with Mexico to stop immigration or the liquidation of the health reform of Barack Obama are mortally wounded.

Discontent with the president, one of the most unpopular and divisive rulers in recent history, has mobilized progressive voters in legislative elections marked by high participation and the reflection of a new time. Americans have chosen a Congress with more women and more racial and religious diversity than ever.

The conquest of the lower house by the Democrats moves the tectonic plates in Washington. The president has ruled so far from the White House with the reassurance that across Pennsylvania Avenue also reigned his, but the change of majority brings many problems for the Republican.

The Democrats will be able to block the approval of laws, since they require the approval of both parts of the Capitol, and to impel their own legislative projects, although soon they give of bruces with the Republican wall in the Senate. They also have the necessary votes to initiate investigations into Trump and his businesses, and even impel a process of impeachment, although it would hardly prosper because he needs two-thirds of the senators.

The so-called blue wave, a color that identifies the party of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, came without enough force to drag the House, a very difficult company while only renewed 35 of the 100 seats and most, 26, and they were Democrats. In fact, the Republicans consolidate their majority in the Senate, keeping at least 51 representatives.

Democrats recover the House of Representatives and weaken Trump

Once again, the rural vote tended to favor Republicans and urban and suburban areas to Democrats. But for the latter, the triumph in the House of Representatives, which have already reached the 219-seat majority, gives hopeful signs: they won districts in which they were not favorites in New York, Texas, Illinois or Virginia. And in the battle for the position of governor they achieved important victories in Michigan and Wisconsin, areas of the industrial belt that in 2016 embraced the tycoon.

It was also a good night for the feminist movement, invigorated by the MeToo wave of protest against sexual harassment, before a president accused of abuses by several women and who has been characterized by his often sexist comments. With the results available at midnight, it was already known that the Capitol would have the largest number of female congressmen in its history.

The state representative sponsored a bill that offers undocumented students university enrollment rates in the state. And as he explained, his low-tax economic platform will lead to more jobs, businesses, and opportunities for students to find high-paying jobs once they graduate.

Robert De Niro received a 'bomb packages' after George Soros

Robert De Niro George Soros

The sending of 'bomb packages' continues in the USA with new recipients: Robert De Niro and Joe Biden

US President Donald Trump has called the "act of political violence" the sending of packages suspected of containing explosive devices, whose recipients are known figures not only of the political landscape. After yesterday they intercepted two packages for the residences of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, today they have seized two new packages, addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro.
According to NBC, the envelopes have been intercepted in post offices during the routine control in which the rest of the packages were detected, and that is, except in the case of billionaire George Soros, the rest of the envelopes have not reached their destination.

Who is tycoon George Soros and why is he the target of the hatred of the extreme right?

The Hungarian-American philanthropist was one of the recipients of the alleged bomb packages this week at his residence in New York. Why?

The political scene in the United States, installed in the division and immersed in fierce fighting for months, lived this week a new episode in the escalation of tension.
Eight explosive packages - which could be nine if confirmed in the restaurant of actor Robert De Niro - were sent against well-known Democratic figures, such as former President Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, or personalities perceived as critical of President Donald Trump.
The first package of all was found in the suburbs of New York in a mailbox of the residence of a tycoon and philanthropist of 88 years: George Soros.

In a letter sent to The New York Times, his son Alexander Soros openly linked bomb packages with the political practice of "demonizing the adversary."

And the truth is that Soros, a multimillionaire of liberal ideology who advocates for a "more open and equitable" world, has many enemies among the conservative right of the United States and also of other countries.

Who is George Soros?

Soros was born in Hungary in 1930 and lived there during the Nazi occupation in 1944 and 1945 when more than 500,000 Hungarian Jews were killed. Soros is also known as "the man who broke the Bank of England," after winning $ 1 billion in a single day with an attack on the pound sterling on Wednesday, September 16, 1992 (since then "black Wednesday").
He is currently ranked 80th on the list of richest men on the planet by Forbes magazine, with a personal fortune valued at the US $ 8,300 million after donating the US $ 18,000 to his philanthropic foundation.
What all the packages share is the sender, which contains the address of Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The Police do not rule out that there are more suspicious packages circulating through the postal services, so they have asked the citizens to stay alert while the investigation is being carried out.

Several anti-Trump personalities targeted by suspicious parcels

Packages containing explosive devices have been sent in recent days to several American personalities, who have in common an opposition displayed or supposed to Donald Trump. Here is the list.
George Soros. The financier is a great democratic donor. He was recently accused by Donald Trump of supporting activists who protested against the Conservative judge that the president had appointed to the Supreme Court.
The Jewish billionaire, of Hungarian origin, became the target of conspiracy and nationalism in Europe and the United States. Conservatives have also accused George Soros of financially supporting thousands of Central American migrants intending to enter the United States.
Hillary Clinton. Former Secretary of State Barack Obama has been the Democratic candidate against Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. His Republican opponent has since donned the nickname "the scum".

Barack Obama. The former Democratic president is frequently criticized by his successor in the White House, but the animosity between the two men dates back to long before Donald Trump entered politics. The ex-businessman has long argued that Mr. Obama was not born in the United States. In return, Barack Obama openly mocked Donald Trump in 2011 at a famous dinner of correspondents at the White House.

Eric Holder. This democratic jurist was the first black to occupy the post of US Minister of Justice, under the first mandate and part of the second term of Barack Obama.

John Brennan. The former head of the CIA, from 2013 to 2017, was very critical of Donald Trump, who in August revoked the secret-defense clearance of this former close adviser to Barack Obama. He sometimes intervenes on the CNN channel, the New York office from which was sent the package possibly trapped.

Maxine Waters. The California Democratic black deputy was heavily criticized in June by Republicans after calling on Americans to confront and harass Trump government members in all public places. Donald Trump called her "crazy" in several tweets.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This former chairman of the National Democratic Party Committee, close to Hillary Clinton, appears as the sender on the suspicious packages sent. The Florida Jewish representative has long been the target of the anti-Semitic fringe of the American far right. Donald Trump used the following terms: "highly neurotic" and "overrated".

Robert De Niro. The actor is one of the most raised American artists against the Republican president. At the Tony Awards, the Broadway Awards last June in New York, he launched a resounding "J'emmerde Trump".

Joe Biden. Former Vice President Barack Obama is regularly cited as a possible Democratic presidential candidate of 2020. Donald Trump called him "crazy" and "mentally and physically weak."

The Sears chain declares bankruptcy

Sears chain bankrupt

Sears also announced that it would close 142 stores by the end of the year; liquidation sales would begin as soon as possible

The chain of department stores Sears Holding, which was once the largest retail emporium in the world, was welcomed this morning in a court in New York to Chapter 11 of bankruptcy laws.
The announcement marks the end of an era for retail in the United States, in which Sears was first overtaken by chains such as Walmart and Home Depot, and later displaced by internet firm Amazon as the preferred option to buy clothes, tools, and appliances.
The company said in a statement that it reached an agreement with its creditors that will allow Sears and Kmart stores to remain open and take advantage of the start of the holiday season.
He also stressed that his majority shareholder, Edward Lampert, the administrator of an investment fund that had been at the helm of the company since 2005, would no longer serve as an executive director although he would remain as chairman of the board of directors.
Sears also announced that it would close down 142 stores by the end of the year, and that liquidation sales of such assets would begin in the short term. These actions are in addition to the 46 stores that are expected to stop operating next month.
Currently, the company manages approximately 700 Sears and Kmart stores and employs about 70,000 people in the United States.

The US chain of stores Sears filed for bankruptcy

The bankruptcy filing came before Sears had to pay $ 134 million as part of its debt maturities.
In recent years, the firm closed hundreds of stores in the midst of a commercial reorganization caused in part by the rise of Amazon and other e-commerce players.

The company had a large debt and on Monday could not repay 134 million dollars it owed, Sears said in a statement.
Edward S. Lampert, president of Sears Holdings, said the insolvency statement would allow the company to have the "flexibility to strengthen its balance sheet" and accelerate a strategic transformation.
The company said it intends to reorganize around a smaller retail platform, something that will help save tens of thousands of jobs.

The firm had 89,000 employees as of February, according to its statement before the commission that controls the actions of the companies (SEC) - it counted with 350,000 a decade ago - as well as with 547 Sears stores and 432 Kmart (both had merged in 2004).

According to the statement, Sears will close at the end of the year 142 unprofitable stores, in addition to the closure in November of the 46 points of sale previously announced. Lampert will continue to preside over the firm but will resign as executive director, a position that will be assumed by other senior executives as part of a new "Office of the Executive Director."

Sears said he had received a commitment to finance 300 million, since the firm is a debtor in possession of assets, and was negotiating another 300 million. Sears expressed its intention to move forward with the restructuring process as quickly as possible and promised to continue with its reorganization plan in the short term.

Sears closed hundreds of stores in the midst of a commercial reorganization caused in part by the rise of Amazon and other e-commerce players. The bankruptcy process will give the company the flexibility to strengthen its accounts, which will allow "the company to accelerate its strategic transformation, continue adjusting the size of its operating model and return to profitability," said Lampert.

The American chain Sears, which came to dominate the retail sector before the advent of online sales, filed for bankruptcy, the company announced Monday.
"Our goal is to achieve a comprehensive restructuring in the most efficient way possible, working in close collaboration with our creditors and other title holders, to be better placed to execute our strategy and key priorities," said Lampert.
Sears is not the only one of the big chains that fall before the advance of online commerce.

In March, the iconic Toys "R" Us toy store announced the closure of its stores in the United States while other large firms, such as Macy's and JC Penny, have been forced to close many outlets and fire officials.

An American describing themselves as "crypto-anarchist" and known for his fight for the weapons made with a 3D printer is wanted by the police, accused of having sex with a girl under 16, authorities announced on Wednesday.

During the summer, Cody Wilson was able to publish on the internet the software for making plastic firearms with a 3D printer, pushing a federal court to order an injunction to stop him.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Austin Police Service told the public that Wilson was still not in custody. The last known location of the founder of the Defense is in Taipei (Taiwan) and he skipped his flight to the States. The authorities believe he has received advice on the new allegations.

"We know that Mr. Wilson travels frequently on business," said Commander Troy Officer of the organized crime division of ODA shortly after 2 pm. "We do not know why he went to Taiwan, but we know he was informed that he was under investigation."

This judicial episode, which had caused turmoil in the United States, allowed Cody Wilson to gain some notoriety.

Mr. Wilson's national profile grew this year when he announced plans to put plans for 3D printed guns online on the Defense Distributed website in early August. He was barred from doing so following a lawsuit by attorneys general from 19 states and Washington, DC.

An arrest warrant has been issued against him by the police in Austin, announced one of its officials Wednesday.

But police said they had trouble finding Mr. Wilson, who had missed a flight back to the United States from Taipei to Taiwan, his last known location.

At a press conference on Wednesday, the CO. Officer Troy of the Austin Police Service stated that a warrant had been filed for the arrest of Mr. Wilson and that local detectives were working with national and international partners to find him.

Mr. Wilson, 30, is charged with having sex with a 16-year-old girl at an Austin hotel on August 15 and paying him $ 500 in cash, according to a sworn affidavit filed in the County of Travis.

The girl told the police that she had met Mr. Wilson via the SugarDaddyMeet.com website, where he used the screen name "Sanjuro," the affidavit says.

Cody Wilson, 30, was last located in Taiwan. He is charged with sexual assault and faces up to 20 years in prison.

According to the girl, she and Wilson took a lift to the 7th floor, where they entered room 718. Again, the hotel's surveillance video corroborated her account, and the hotel records confirmed that Wilson was registered at the hotel tonight. After their meeting, Wilson would have paid him five $ 100 bills.

Police said that Wilson then drove the girl 33 miles south and filed it to a Whataburger. Once again, the police found that video footage corroborated his account.

One week after the alleged meeting, a counselor contacted APD on August 22 to inform them that one of his clients had been involved in this incident. The detectives then interviewed the girl, who provided many details about her alleged encounter with Wilson.

The girl's parents also allowed the police to search the girl's iPhone. There, the authorities found many messages and links to SugarDaddyMeet.com, the website where Wilson and the girl apparently met.

The police eventually matched Wilson's Texan driving license, which would have gone through the "Sanjuro" handle, along with Sanjuro's profile picture on the website.
Wilson and the girl first exchanged messages via SugarDaddyMeet and later via iMessages. He would have ended up telling the girl that he was a "big problem". When she tried to learn more about him, the girl found many articles about the digital firearms activist.

He paid $ 500 to his alleged victim, a 16-year-old girl, for having sex with her on August 15 after meeting her on a site for "Sugar Daddy", a name given to elderly men tending a young person, often in exchange for sex.

When asked if Wilson said anything that he knew the reality of the situation, the Cmdr. The agent did not share any details of the messages between Wilson and the girl referenced in the court documents. "Every time you apply, whether as a child or as an adult, it's illegal," said Cmdr. Officer. "This is a child, but I do not think my detectives sat down with an [alleged perpetrator] that said," I knew the victim was a minor. "

An arrest warrant has been issued against him by the police in Austin, announced one of its officials Wednesday. Cody Wilson, 30, was last located in Taiwan. He is charged with sexual assault and faces up to 20 years in prison.

She and Mr. Wilson, who identified with the girl, exchanged phone numbers and then continued to send each other messages, each sharing at least one explicit photo, according to the affidavit.

During a conversation, Mr. Wilson described himself as a "big problem," says the affidavit.

"We are working with our national and international law enforcement partners to find him and bring him to justice," police said.

Before leaving the country, Cody Wilson had learned that the girl had spoken to the police.
