know the days of coming Lunar Eclipse and Supermoon

The first total eclipse of 2019 with supermoon of blood is coming. Here we tell you when it will be for you to prepare and enjoy this astrological phenomenon.

2019 paints to be a year full of space phenomena and to start the first total eclipse of the moon that will happen in conjunction with a supermoon of blood. The San Juan astronomer Carlos López told Channel 8 that the phenomenon will be seen in the province in all its splendor. The most important point will be between 1 and 2 in the morning of the 21st.

This year we expect approximately five eclipses, a meteor shower, a planetary transit, a blue moon, the approach between the moon and Jupiter; and three superlunas. This month we will be able to appreciate the first of the five eclipses and here we leave you all the details. One of the most striking points of this type of eclipse is the color acquired by the moon. From there it receives the name of "Superlunary de Sangre de Lobo".

Stargazers are thus calling this astronomical event for the following reasons: it is a lunar eclipse, meaning that the sun and the moon will be aligned on opposite sides of the Earth, the moon will be completely covered with its shadow and will acquire a reddish tone, hence the nickname "Blood Moon".
  • Where? North and South America. It can be seen partially in CDMX.
  • When? It will begin on January 20 23:37 and end at approximately 02:43 on January 21.

To begin with these astronomical events of the year, on Sunday, January 6, the Moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, which will result in a partial solar eclipse. The bad news is that NASA announced that it can only be seen in Northeast Asia and the North Pacific. The eclipse will also occur when the lunar orbit is closest to our planet, making the satellite look slightly brighter and larger than normal, which is called "Supermoon.

The total eclipse of the moon and the supermoon of blood, these two we will be able to appreciate in Mexico. Finally, the full moon of January is traditionally called "Wolf Moon" in the United States, according to Farmer's Almanac.

The supermoon of blood is due to an optical effect that happens when the planet Earth interposes between the Sun and the Moon that is when there is a total lunar eclipse. So get ready to enjoy this phenomenon that will give us the Universe. This "Supermoon of Wolf Blood" can be seen from anywhere in North and South America, Western Europe and Africa.

It can be seen between January 20 and 21 only in the western hemisphere of the Earth, according to information from NASA.
