Disney launches trailer for remake of the The Lion King

The Lion King

The Lion King will arrive at the movie theaters on July 19, 2019, where we will relive the emotional story of Simba.

Disney's new trend is to launch live-action versions of its classic animated films, and within the framework of Thanksgiving, they present the first official trailer of The Lion King.
This new film scheduled to premiere next year is directed by Jon Favreau, who took charge of The Jungle Book in 2016, and taking advantage of CGI technology will tell us the emotional story of Simba.
Along with the preview, the first poster and the official synopsis of the long-awaited film were released.
“The new live-action version of Disney's" The Lion King "takes us to the African savannah where a future king is born, Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and is excited about his real destiny. The kingdom celebrates the arrival of the new puppy Scar, the brother of Mufasa and former heir to the throne, has his own plans. The stellar cast of the original English version includes: Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in the role of Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, and Billy Eichner in the role of Timon and Seth Rogen as Pumba”
As mentioned in the synopsis, the film will feature a cast of important artists for the voices of the characters. The film will reach the cinemas on July 19, 2019, and it should be noted that other Disney live-action films such as Aladdin by Guy Ritchie and Dumbo by Tim Burton will also be released during the year.

The breakthrough as spectacular as expected of an overproduction of these characteristics reminds us one of the most famous scenes of the animation classic: the presentation of the little Simba, heir to the throne. At the moment, it is the little they show us of the film which promises to recover the magic of the original film. For this, Disney has returned to trust Jon Favreau, who triumphed directing the remake of 'The Jungle Book' ('The Jungle Book').
