You will miss the Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow

Johnny Depp

Disney has already confirmed it: it wants to do a reboot of 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and look for an alternative to continue with a saga that has not done more than report benefits over the years. To give it a new image, the company has decided that the best they can do is start over instead of continuing to stretch the same story.

The first doubt of the fans of the saga when they heard the news was intimately related to Jack Sparrow, one of the protagonists. And Johnny Depp, the actor who gave him life, has been involved not only in many controversies but in many new projects that could jeopardize his continuation in the saga. But now Disney has already confirmed: they are going to restructure the saga completely, and that implies not having Johnny Depp from now on.

Screenwriter Stuart Beattie has spoken with DailyMailTV and explained that Disney does not intend to have Depp in the future. " I think it has come a long way, obviously, he has made that character his own and has become the most famous character he has ever made, all children around the world appreciate him as that character, so I think he has it's been great for him, it's been great for us, so I'm very happy about it, "explains Beattie.
'Pirates of the Caribbean': Johnny Depp will not be Jack Sparrow anymore
Jack Sparrow marked a before and after in the career of Johnny Depp, a race that was already promising enough. Papers like Eduardo Scissorhands or Jack Sparrow have been the ones that have made Depp, an actor with a very strong personality, great. 'Pirates of the Caribbean' must return with a totally different protagonist, with a different magic, because otherwise, it cannot even fight with the original films.

Depp will continue working on 'Harry Potter'

But for Johnny Depp, it is no displeasure to not be able to return to the skin of Captain Sparrow since he will be able to continue giving life to Gellert Grindelwald in the saga of 'Fantastic Beasts. The second part, 'Fantastic Beasts: the crimes of Grindelwald' will be released on November 16, and the actor is expected to be one of the great protagonists.

The saga has received much criticism for wanting to have Depp among its cast, since the complaint of his now ex-wife, Amber Heard, continues to be on his back. The case has not yet been closed, it has not been proven whether Depp is innocent or not of the charges against him, and that is what makes Harry Potter fans complain about him in the film. Even so, JK Rowling has defended at all times that Depp is innocent until proven otherwise.

After several months of doubts about the participation of Johnny Depp in the reboot of the saga "Pirates of the Caribbean", Disney made the decision to dispense with the actor who, during five installments, gave life to the bizarre Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Johnny Depp gets fired from the saga!

Daily Mail confirmed the news: Stuart Beattie, one of the original writers, is the one who explained that his days as a pirate came to an end.
"I think (Depp) has had a great career, obviously, he has made the character his own, becoming famous today," he said. "Kids around the world love him for this character, so I think it's been great for him and us, I'm very happy."
The problems that the well-known actor had in the film of "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Revenge of Salazar", seem to be the cause of this decision.

He also says that the recent misbehavior of the actor accused of violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard and by a director with whom he worked on his latest film, City of Lies, is not foreign to the decision of to remove it from the saga.
