Joaquin Phoenix featured as the Joker in a new video

Warner finally revealed Joaquin Phoenix featured as a clown in the forthcoming Joker movie. It is not yet clear if this will be the final look of the character in the movie or just an initial version. In any case, Scott Snyder, Batman comic writer, commented on the revelation.

The comedian has slipped into the skin of the famous Joker, the hero of the new film Todd Phillips, whose film has just begun in New York. Already scary without makeup, he now appears in his final look in a video published by the director on Instagram.

Scott Snyder has written 52 Batman editions between 2011 and 2016 during the New 52 era, authoring iconic arcs such as The Owls' Court.

The new Joker is him. After Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Jared Leto, it's time for Joaquin Phoenix to slip into Batman's nemesis. It was the director of Todd Phillips ( Very Bad Trip, War Dogs ) who published on his Instagram account the first visual of the very thin comedian, the mid-length hair framing an emaciated and closed face.

It is, therefore, a photo of the Joker without his extreme makeup that we discover, accompanied by a very sober legend, "Arthur", in reference to Arthur Fleck, the civil identity of the Joker before he became the famous Gotham City criminal. Produced by Martin Scorsese, the film whose release is scheduled for October 2019, follows the path of the future villain in the Gotham of the 1980s.

The film Joker also has cast Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Bill Camp (Operation Red Sparrow, The Great Play), Frances Conroy (American Horror Story, Castle Rock), Brett Cullen (42, Narcos) Glenn Fleshler (Billions, Barry), Douglas Hodge (Operation Red Sparrow, Penny Dreadful), Marc Maron (Maron, GLOW), Josh Pais (Motherless Brooklyn, Going in Style) and Shea Whigham of the Skull).

The direction of Joker will be by Todd Philips (If Drink, Not Case!), With a script of Scott Silver (The Winner) and production of the actor Bradley Cooper.

Chameleon comedian, Joaquin Phoenix has undergone an impressive physical transformation to enter the skin of his character.

This Friday, Todd Philipps posted on Instagram a video in which the painted face of the Joker appears superimposed on that of Joaquin Phoenix ... Before the two are more than one.
